Autism Testing
Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is a neurodevelopmental disorder characterized by difficulties with social communication and interaction, difficulties with social reciprocity, and restrictive and repetitive behavior. It can occur with or without language impairment, with or without intellectual impairment, and is categorized by level of support.
Testing
We can test for autism as early as age two; early interventions are key!
Interventons
We don't offer ABA therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, or physical therapy at Cura, but we can refer you to community partners once you/your child receives an ASD diagnosis.
Continued Monitoring
It is generally recommended for a re-evaluation every 1-3 years following an ASD diagnosis.
